Our Story
Founded in 1999 as After-Hours Appliance Repair, our company started small—often working evenings and weekends to serve customers who needed help outside regular hours. With roots in the appliance trade dating back to my grandfather's business in 1953, and generations of family involvement along the way, we've carried forward a tradition of hands-on expertise. Through dedication, continuous learning, and strong customer relationships, we've grown into a trusted full-service provider with over 25 years of keeping homes running smoothly.
In 2013, we rebranded to Certified Appliance Repair to better reflect our extensive factory training and authorizations from leading manufacturers. This allows our technicians to perform warranty-authorized repairs on a wide range of brands, using up-to-date techniques and genuine parts.
What truly sets us apart isn't just the training—it's our team's genuine pride in their work, our commitment to educating customers every step of the way. Diana Betosky
Diana is the powerhouse behind the scenes who keeps our entire team on our toes. What she loves most about her work is the genuine family environment we’ve built together. While she’s a pro at keeping us organized, she considers her greatest life accomplishments to be her children and grandchildren.
Fun Fact: If our radio advertisements sound familiar, that’s because Diana is the voice

Ashlea Geerts
With 20 years of industry experience—12 of those dedicated to our team—Ashlea is a cornerstone of our office. She thrives on our morning routine of sharing stories and building each other up. Fueled by coffee and Mountain Dew, Ashlea believes that "patience will take you a long way" in both work and life. When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her lost in a good book, working on a sewing project, or enjoying the great outdoors hunting and fishing.
Serena Lowe
Serena joined our team in May 2025, bringing with her a rich background in the hospitality industry. Her favorite part about working here? The fact that the office feels like one big family unit. Serena is a seasoned leader; her proudest professional moment was traveling across the U.S. during the pandemic to train new hotel leadership. When she isn’t keeping things running smoothly, you’ll likely find her fueling up with a fountain Coke. Serena lives by the mantra, "The world is changed by your example, not your opinion." Looking ahead, she hopes to eventually move back to a snowy climate and dreams of going on an expedition with the Australia Zoo!
Tony Back
If you’ve worked with us over the last 20 years, chances are you’ve met Tony. He is our resident specialist who loves solving problems and making customers smile (and he never says not to meeting your furbabies!) As the designated office barista, Tony keeps the team caffeinated – though he insists on having his first cut before the brewing begins. Tony’s secret to success is simple: clear, honest communication every step of the way.
Robert Betosky
Robert isn’t just a technician; he’s a lifelong student of the trade. Having grown up in the
business, he has spent the last nine years officially honing his craft and contributing to the team. Robert thrives in our office’s laid-back environment, which allows him to focus on what he does best: solving complex problems for our customers. His proudest
professional milestone to date is mastering the intricate world of sealed systems—a technical feat that ensures your appliances stay running for years to come. When he’s not behind a refrigerator or being fueled by his morning coffee, Robert dreams of his
future retirement goals: trading the toolbox for a suitcase and traveling the world.
Jeffery Betosky
Jeffrey has been immersed in the appliance industry for most of his life. After completing his service in the U.S. Army, he returned to his family roots to bring his discipline and technical skills to the repair business. For Jeffrey, nothing beats the camaraderie of his team or the satisfaction of a happy customer. He considers being part of the family legacy his greatest professional achievement. His expert advice is to always read the owner’s manual. He powers through the day with RedBull. His guilty pleasure is on his off time to settle in and watch It’s a Wonderful Life.
Jerry "Brant" Davis
Brant has been a staple of our crew for four years now. What does he love most about working here? The fact that our team feels like one big family! Brant is a true
problem-solver who is most proud of his ability to teach others the intricacies of the breakdowns and mechanical aspects of how appliances work. He draws his daily strength from his family and lives by the philosophy that a strong mindset is the key to accomplishing any goal. Off the clock, Brant loves to recharge by heading out to fish.
Burke Rhodes
Burke has been a vital part of our team for two years. A natural collaborator, he thrives in our "family-feel" environment and finds the most fulfillment in solving complex problems alongside his colleagues. Burke is a lifelong learner who takes immense pride in mastering new skills. His top piece of advice for any teammate? "Always ask for help—never feel like you have to struggle through a challenge alone."
Alfonzo Rodriguez
Since joining us in mid-2025, Alfonzo has loved the close-knit family feel of our office. He is a family-oriented individual at heart, citing his greatest accomplishments as being a leader for his younger siblings and a source of pride for his parents. A huge sports fan, Alphonzo spends his free time watching basketball or relaxing with his favorite movie, Friday After Next.
